Care of Earthly Vessel

Care of Earthly Vessel

The Care of your beloved’s remains is a personal choice. You may have some land to use for the burial. You may choose to cremate so you can have their ashes. The choice of what to do does not need to be hurried. You may wish to spend time with them after they have died.

Please Note : I will only take your beloved’s remains if you have chosen cremation.

Below I have listed the options available :

Home Burial :

Your loved one can be buried legally on your property. If they have been chemically assisted

(euthanized) then their remains must be buried at least 4 feet under the earth as the chemical

can be harmful to wildlife if ingested by wild animals.

Touch Wood Memorial Rings are wearable works of art reminiscent of the Victorian era when

mourning jewelry was popular. For twenty years, our Mourning Jewelry has been lovingly and

meticulously handcrafted by David Finch, pioneer of the bent wood ring.

Memorial rings, pins and pendants are inlaid with cremated ash and can be made in memory of a person or a companion animal. Some people include dried flower petals with the ashes or a

special shell or stone, or a few strands of fur. Your memorial piece is created with the deepest respect for the life being honoured.
